What we do

Everything electrical on anything that drives, tows or works.

Cars, utes, trucks, caravans, campers, trailers and the machinery that runs the properties out west. If it has wiring in it, it is our sort of job.

Mobile auto electrical

Fully mobile. If it will not start, will not charge or will not run, we come to the vehicle rather than making you find a way to get it to us.

Automotive air conditioning

Leak checks, cooling tests and a full health check on the system. Worth doing before the heat arrives rather than in the middle of it.

Batteries and charging

Battery health checks, terminals, trays and charging faults, on the vehicle or out on the road.

Auto electrical diagnostics

Wiring faults, shorts, broken wires and intermittent electrical problems. Finding the fault is most of the job.

Caravans, campers and trailers

12V systems, Anderson plugs, electric trailer brakes and van wiring. A big part of what rolls through our door is somebody a long way from home.

Farm and plant machinery

Sprayers, forklifts and other property and plant gear. Big machinery does not come into town easily, which is why being mobile matters.

On the road

Mobile is not a sideline here. It is in the name.

Plenty of workshops will tell you to get it towed in. Out here that is not always realistic. A header in the middle of a paddock, a van sitting at the caravan park, a truck stopped on the highway: none of those move easily, and none of them wait.

So the service ute is set up to do the job where the vehicle is. Between the workshop on Rainbow Road and the road, we cover Charters Towers, Prairie, Hughenden and up to Normanton.

Over the Christmas period, when the workshop is closed, we keep a mobile emergency breakdown service running. It is a bad time of year to be stuck.

Vans and campers

A long way from home, with something not working.

Charters Towers sits on the road west, so a good share of our work is travellers who have hit trouble. Anderson plugs that have given up, 12V systems that will not charge, wiring faults in the van, electric brakes playing up on one wheel. We know the drill, and we know you would rather be moving than waiting.

“Had our problem fixed and sorted within the hour.”

Russ Freshwater, who arrived in town with a 12V fault in the van, rang that afternoon and had a visit to the caravan park organised for the next morning.

Also on the books

UHF radios, plus a listed Icom dealer for aviation and satellite.

Alongside the auto electrical side, we supply UHF radios from brands like GME and Icom, and we are named in Icom Australia’s own dealer directory under aviation and satellite. Out where the phone signal stops, that side of the business matters as much as the wiring.

Arrived in CT with an existing 12v issue in the caravan and called these guys that afternoon. Had a visit to the caravan park organised for the very next morning and the sparky had our problem fixed and sorted within the hour. We are more than happy to recommend their services!! 👍🏻

Superfast efficient service from first contact with Liz to professional team Jaden and Holly on site to our van, very reasonably priced for our work. Replaced plug on the van and back to normal. Highly recommend this business 👌 👏

Liz and Jake were great and super friendly. Traveling from Karumba when the Anderson plug disintegrated. Rang these guys when we arrived into CT and spoke to Liz who said come around now and the boys will fix it. Jake did the job within 45 mins and checked the power into the battery. Could not be happier with the service and the level of engagement. Thank you.

Had a particular problem re fuel system. Have had lots of advice but Holly fixed the broken wire in a few minutes. Turned two weeks of worry into complete happiness. Thank you so much for a good job.
